On the tools
Beyond servicing — ECU diagnostics, suspension, exhaust and tyre work for drivers who want more from their car.

ECU & emissions
Dealer-grade tools to read, tune and clear the systems that trip a check-engine light or fail an emissions check — from AdBlue/SCR faults to a blocked DPF.

Suspension
Kits fitted and aligned in-house, not sent out — from heavy-duty 3"–6" lift kits for trucks and 4x4s to coilover lowering kits for a lower, sharper stance.

Exhaust
Mandrel-bent stainless systems built to fit your car and your ears — quieter daily-driver setups through to full performance cat-back systems.

Tyres & wheels
New tyres fitted, balanced and aligned in-house. We stock and fit Bridgestone, Dayton, Goodride, Hifly, Pirelli and other major brands to suit your car and budget.
How it works
Thirty seconds on your phone — plate number, the service you're after, your name and number. No account, no forms about your car.
Dealer-grade scan tools and a mechanic's eye. We find what's actually wrong — and what isn't — before anything gets touched.
A plain-English quote before the work starts. No surprise line items, no jobs you didn't sign off. Genuine or OEM-equivalent parts.
Every job logged in your digital service record, warranty on the workmanship, and a reminder when the next service is due.
Why choose us
Tui Torque Motors (trading as Car Master Automotive) is a family-run car servicing workshop in Wiri, Auckland, established in 2020 — servicing all makes and models, petrol, diesel and hybrid, with a particular specialty in European marques including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen and Jaguar.
Every job includes a digital service record and a plain-English quote before any work begins. Since 2020 we've been the local, family-run alternative to the big chains — honest advice, fair pricing, and mechanics who explain the job before it starts. Our mechanics are trained to a NZQA Level 7 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
New ownership
This workshop has looked after Wiri drivers since 2020 — and it still does. What's changed is who's behind it: new ownership, the same mechanics you already trust, and a sharper focus on how you're treated from the moment you call. We didn't inherit your trust. We're earning it, one job at a time.
It's not just our name — it's how we work.
You're handing over your car and your money on faith. We treat that like it's earned every visit, not assumed.
One mechanic owns your job start to finish — no passing you between three different guys, no "that's not my job."
Same standard on a rushed Tuesday as a quiet Saturday. Every car, every time.
Work that's still right six months later, not just on the day you drive out.
Your time matters. We don't sit on your car, and we don't leave you on hold.
The minimum gets your WOF signed off. We aim past the minimum, every job.

Inside the workshop
Transparent pricing
All prices exclude GST. No surprises on the invoice.
Car servicing — choose your vehicle, then Basic or Premium
Other services
All prices exclude GST. Litres refer to the engine oil your vehicle takes, not engine size — give us your rego and we'll confirm your exact package before we start. European and Performance prices are starting prices. Additional parts, fluids, repairs or specialist requirements aren't included unless stated, and any extra work is approved by you first.
Air conditioning
Your car's air con works hard through humid Auckland summers and foggy winter mornings. Over time the system slowly loses gas pressure and small leaks creep in, so cooling fades before you notice. Here's what to know.
Have the system checked about every two years. A technician tests pressures and performance and catches small problems early, before they turn into an expensive repair.
If the air isn't cooling, a leak is the usual cause. Topping up gas over a leak isn't allowed in New Zealand and wastes money, so we find and fix the leak first, then recharge the system.
A tired compressor means warm air or no cooling at all, and leaving it can damage other parts of the system. We diagnose it early and quote the repair before any work starts.
The condenser sits behind the grille, so stones and debris can clog or puncture it. That hurts airflow and cooling and can leak gas. We'll check it and quote the fix.
Mould or bacteria on the evaporator is a common cause of smells, and it's treatable.
Common questions
WOF pricing depends on your vehicle, so call or text 022 095 0555 for a current quote — we keep pricing transparent with no hidden fees. A Warrant of Fitness inspection checks your vehicle meets New Zealand's legal safety and roadworthy standards, covering brakes, tyres, lights, steering, suspension, seatbelts, structure and more. Most vehicles first registered after 2000 need a WOF every 12 months; older vehicles need one every 6 months. It's illegal to drive on an expired WOF except directly to and from a repairer for assessment. WOF inspections at Tui Torque Motors are available by appointment alongside our standard servicing and repair work, and many customers book both together in one visit to save a second trip. If your car doesn't pass, we'll explain exactly what's needed and quote the repair before starting any work.
Our service prices are set packages, all plus GST. For cars and SUVs, a Basic Service is $160 for small cars (engine oil up to 4 L) or $180 for most cars and SUVs (up to 5 L), and a Premium Service is $230. Vans and work vehicles are $180 Basic and $250 Premium. Utes are $349 Basic and $399 Premium (engine oil up to 9 L). European cars start from $190 Basic and $260 Premium, and Performance Services start from $469. Basic covers the oil and filter change, coolant and washer fluid top-ups and a basic inspection including the air and cabin filters. Premium adds a comprehensive inspection with tyre, brake pad, battery and underbody checks. The litres refer to how much engine oil your vehicle takes, not engine size, so give us your rego and we'll confirm the exact price before we start. Call or text 022 095 0555 for a quote.

We're at Unit 2, 69 Wiri Station Road, Wiri, Auckland 2104.
We keep pricing transparent with no hidden fees — Basic Service from $160 +GST for small cars and $180 +GST for most cars and SUVs, Premium Service from $230 +GST, and diagnostic scans from $60 +GST. As a family-run workshop rather than a franchise or dealership, our rates are typically lower for the same quality of work. Call or text 022 095 0555 for a quote before any work starts.
Tui Torque Motors (trading as Car Master Automotive) is a 4.8-star rated, family-run auto repair shop in Wiri, Auckland, backed by over 50 verified Google reviews. We handle WOF inspections, servicing, brakes, diagnostics, wheel alignment, suspension and exhaust work all under one roof.
Beyond WOF inspections and car servicing, we handle brake and safety repairs, wheel alignment, diagnostic scanning, ECU tuning and emissions faults, suspension lift/lowering kits, custom exhaust work, and fleet maintenance for Auckland businesses.
Most WOF inspections and basic servicing can be completed same-day when booked in advance — call or text 022 095 0555 to check same-day availability. More involved repairs like engine diagnostics or suspension work may need a short lead time depending on parts.
A Basic Service ($160 to $180 +GST for cars and SUVs, depending on engine oil capacity) covers the engine oil and filter replacement, coolant level check and top-up, washer fluid top-up and a basic vehicle inspection including the engine air filter and cabin filter. It's a solid choice for newer or regularly serviced vehicles. A Premium Service ($230 +GST for cars and SUVs) includes everything in Basic plus a comprehensive vehicle inspection with tyre condition, pressure and wear checks, a brake pad inspection, a brake fluid top-up, a battery health check and an underbody inspection, along with washer additive and tyre shine. That catches issues like thinning brake pads, uneven tyre wear or a failing battery before they turn into a breakdown or an unexpected WOF fail. We recommend Premium for older or high-kilometre vehicles, or if it has been a while since the car was looked over. If you're not sure which is right for your car, call or text 022 095 0555 and we'll recommend the right level before you book.
A Basic Car Service starts at $160 +GST and a Premium Service at $230 +GST for most cars and SUVs (vans, utes and European cars are priced separately). WOF pricing depends on the vehicle — call or text 022 095 0555 for a quote. Booking both together often works out cheaper than two separate visits.
Most Basic or Premium services combined with a WOF are completed within 1–2 hours when booked in advance, and often same-day. Larger repairs found during the check may extend this — we'll always call before doing extra work.
Yes for most vehicles — a Premium Service adds a comprehensive inspection with tyre, brake pad, battery and underbody checks on top of the Basic oil change and fluid top-ups, catching issues early before they become expensive repairs. We recommend it every 10,000–15,000km or annually.
Tyre pressure and engine oil changes are the two most commonly neglected items. Under-inflated tyres wear unevenly and increase fuel use, while overdue oil changes accelerate engine wear — both are quick, low-cost checks we include in every service.
It's not recommended for most vehicles. Manufacturers typically specify an oil change every 10,000–15,000km or 12 months, whichever comes first — going 2 years risks sludge build-up and engine wear, even with lower mileage.
Dark, gritty oil (rather than amber and clear), a burning smell, louder engine noise, an oil warning light, or reduced performance are the main signs. If you're not sure, we check oil condition as part of every service.
If your current WOF hasn't expired yet, you can usually keep driving until it does, provided the vehicle isn't dangerously defective. If your WOF has already expired, you're generally restricted to driving directly to and from a repairer. We'll always explain exactly where your vehicle stands after a failed check.
Yes — this is one of our most common bookings. Getting both done in one visit saves you a second trip and often picks up issues before they'd cause a WOF fail.
Yes — a spare tyre isn't a required check item under NZ's WOF rules. The tyres actually fitted to the car do need to meet the legal tread depth and condition standards though.
