Who we are

Tui Torque Motors Ltd, trading as Car Master Automotive ("we", "us", "our"), operates a car servicing workshop at Unit 2, 69 Wiri Station Road, Wiri, Auckland 2104, New Zealand. Information we collect

We collect personal information when you interact with us directly — we don't use tracking cookies, analytics scripts or advertising pixels on this website, so we don't collect anything about how you browse it.

• Booking form: your vehicle's number plate, the service you've selected, your name, phone number, and any optional details you add (e.g. car make/model, what's wrong, preferred time).
• Phone, email, WhatsApp or Messenger: whatever you tell us when you call, text, email or message us — usually your name, contact details, vehicle details and the nature of your enquiry.
• Vehicle and service records: details of work carried out on your vehicle, kept as part of your digital service history.

How we use it

We use your information to arrange and provide the booking or service you've requested, to contact you about that booking (by phone, text, email, WhatsApp or Messenger), to keep a record of work done on your vehicle, and to respond to general enquiries. We don't use your information for marketing without your separate consent, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and respond to you. They process your information on our behalf and aren't permitted to use it for their own purposes:

• Resend — delivers the email notification when you submit the booking form.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform & Messenger) — used if you message us via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, or if we notify the workshop of a new booking that way.
• Vercel — hosts this website and its booking form.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the safety or legal rights of our business or customers.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and service records for as long as reasonably necessary — generally for the life of your relationship with us as a customer, plus a period afterwards to meet accounting, warranty and legal record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we're not required to keep it, we will.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction if it's wrong, and ask us to explain how we've used it. To make a request, contact us at info@tuitorquemotors.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, and we apply standard security measures (including security response headers) to protect information submitted through it. No online system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we start using a new service provider. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
