Tyres are the one part of your car doing all the work of keeping it on the road, so we don't just push whatever's cheapest. We stock a real range — value brands like Dayton, Goodride and Hifly for budget-conscious replacements, through to premium names like Bridgestone and Pirelli when you want the best wear life and wet-weather grip.
Every new tyre fitment includes wheel balancing as standard, and we'll flag it if your alignment looks out — uneven wear on the tyres you're replacing is usually the tell. Alignment is a separate, optional add-on rather than something we upsell automatically.
Not sure if you need new tyres yet? Bring the car in for a free visual check — we look at tread depth and wear pattern as part of every service and WOF anyway.
Common questions
Straight answers,
no fine print.
What tyre brands do you stock?
We supply and fit Bridgestone, Dayton, Goodride, Hifly, Pirelli and other major brands, covering a range of budgets from value to premium. Tell us your rego or tyre size and we'll quote the options.
Is wheel balancing included when I get new tyres?
Yes — every new tyre fitment includes wheel balancing as standard, so you're not paying extra for a job that should always be done together.
Do I need a wheel alignment after new tyres?
Not always, but it's worth checking — uneven wear on your old tyres is often a sign your alignment is out. We offer wheel alignment alongside tyre fitting on request, from $80 +GST.
How do I know if my tyres need replacing?
NZ's legal minimum tread depth is 1.5mm, but we'd recommend replacing well before that for safety, especially in wet conditions. We check tread depth as part of every WOF and service — ask us for a free visual check any time.
Can you match tyres to my budget rather than just the cheapest option?
Yes — we stock both value brands and premium performance tyres, and we'll talk you through the trade-offs (wear life, wet grip, noise) rather than just quoting the cheapest option.
